Here are some shots of la casa en la paisa La Mesa we went to for a short excursion.  I love city life, but it was nice to get out of the traffic and the bustle and into the serenity of the mountains. It's crazy that an hour outside of Bogota (which is cold) is such a warm place. Novio says it has something to do con las montañas...

how great is this photo? i stumbled across this tumblr page and she takes such cute pics. reminds me of being at a show and throwing your hair around to the beat of the music. which reminds me, I am extremely sad la roux postponed her show her next week....to NOVEMBER. I get it, it happens, but that's like 4 months away.... dislike.

The night in Colombia that truly killed me. Tequila + Aguardiente = one wicked hangover. We went to a bar/restaraunt called Andres and celebrated the birthday of a friend of Novio's. It was great to spend time with all his friends from back home! I can't wait to return to Colombia, it is truly a beautiful place.

una dia at the museo del oro

Novio and I decided to embrace a little culture and stimulate our brains a bit at the Museo de Oro in the Candalaria district of Bogota. It was perfect really, lots of gold (which I love) and the weather was really rainy so it was nice to put the umbrellas away and just relax. A wonderful beginning to my short stay en Colombia!
